It is an elegant and harmonious wine, an intense cherry-red. With an aroma note of raspberry and delicate floral nuance. The taste is complex, sapid , warm and at the same time fresh and vivacious, with a good body and fine and chalky tannin. It combines the fragrance of the Frappato with the warmest and spiciest sensations of the tendency of tobacco of the Nero d’Avola.

Origin: hills around Licodia Eubea, in the far south-eastern part of Sicily .
Vineyard: exposed to the east in the vale of the river Dirillo affected by a fresh microclimate characterized by a high temperature range
Vine: Nero d’Avola and Frappato, as regulated by DOCG
Pruning technique: Guyot
Harvest: second half of September
Winemaking: rasping and fermentation in stainless steel container tanks with a set temperature of 26°/28° C, maceration with the skin for 10/12 days and Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.
Alcohol content: 13/13,5% vol.
Colour: very intense red cherry
